COVID-19 Protocol as at 1st January 2021

Our priorities are the safety and health of our patients, clients, and our team.

We are now welcoming one (1) owner per pet inside the clinic for all consultations, surgery admissions, and emergencies. Families will continue to be welcomed into the clinic for euthanasias only. No more than 10 clients are to be inside the clinic at all times.

Upon arrival for consultations, admissions or discharges, please enter the clinic via the entry door at the car park side of the building only. Clients will need to sanitise their hands on arrival and line up on the floor markers in front of the reception desk. Once patients have been checked in by the Reception team, clients are to wait in the allocated seating area until they are called into a consult room by a Vet or Nurse. We ask that all clients maintain 1.5 metres social distancing rules at all times, including inside consult rooms. Payments are to be made primarily via Eftpos only, and cash only if Eftpos is not viable for the client. Eftpos machines will continue to be wiped down after each use.

For all medications and prescription food collection, please call us on (02) 4934 1900 to order. We will contact you when the order is ready for collection and clients are welcome to come into the clinic to collect.

Our clinic and consultation hours will continue from 8.30am until 6pm Monday to Friday, and 9am until 4pm Saturdays and Sundays. Surgery bookings will remain at Monday to Friday only with the exception of emergencies. Additional weekend charge rates remain in effect for emergency consultations and bookings that are not made prior to the day of the consultation.

We ask that you arrange for someone else to bring your pet to us if you have been in contact with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19, or have a temperature, cough or are feeling unwell.

Our staff are following government advice regarding staying safe, and hospital cleaning schedules have increased to ensure their safety and the safety of our clients.
